Help for the Elderly

Do you offer any extra help for the elderly or people with disabilities?

Yes. We have a phone service called Careline. Our team of specially trained Careline advisers will give you extra help with your energy bills, advice on saving energy or anything else to do with gas and electricity.

You can contact Careline by phoning 0800 622 838. All calls to our Careline are free.

If you have hearing or speech difficulties and you are a text phone user, you can send typed messages to Textline, our text phone service.

You can contact Textline by phoning 0800 622 839. All calls to our Textline are free.

We provide services for blind or partially sighted customers, such as large print or Braille bills.

Our Careline team also give advice on where you can get particular products, for example special controls and adaptors that help you use appliances more easily, if you have difficulty finding suitable help.
